What a fun book!!! If you're looking for a deep, serious plot, this isn't it. ;) Lots of fast paced lines, kewel twists and turns, terrific irony. The humor and almost frantic pace remind me of those black and white comedies Cary Grant used to do with Katharine Hepburn. She does not have fond memories of him and he doesn't like being blackmailed by his mother, so they each set out to get out of the engagement by making the other cry off.
