A second collection of meditations and prayers, exploring the spiritual lessons to be learnt from 20 of England's cathedrals, and Westminster Abbey, drawing inspiration from some aspect of the architecture, history or furnishings. The book opens, unexpectedly but appropriately, with a chapter on Lindisfarne: many of our cathedrals were founded on Christian communities established by those trained and sent out from the school set up by Aiden on Holy Island. Having made the Celtic connection the author subtly underlines it by structuring the book around the Trinity.
