Having been taught reading, writing, and a little magic by his owner, Jules the kitten is persuaded by fairies that appear through the television set to return with them to fairyland and help save... This description may be from another edition of this product.
...I've had it as long as I can remember, and have always loved it. The art is gorgeous, and the story is fun. It's nice to see a story with a witch in it who isn't that sterriotypical evil old hag. Plus, the small details about witches, mostly true! I cannot highly recomend this book enough! It will defanetly entice the imagination.
Beautiful Art, Wonderful Story, Tough Kitty

I have loved this book since I was a child and I still love to read it. Woodruff's Art is Great, you could spend hours just staring at the illustrations. I especially recommend this book to Pagan parents who want to read their child a story that doesn't paint witches as the malevolent brides of satan that many tend to hold. This woudl be a great way to warm your child up to the realm of fairy and magic in general.

I actually have a memory of going to the book store and buying this book... I was in kindergarten and I fell in love with it the second I opened it and saw the pictures. It was my first chapter book although I didn't notice as the pictures kept me inthrawled and the wonderful story went on and on. Over the years it has been read a hundred time taken from the shelf anytime I needed a smile. And when I went to college it was the one children's book I took with me. And one which i still delight in showing friends. I have looked for another copy of this book for ages, in hopes of giving it to a young cousin.... and if ever there was a book that deserves to be rescued from its out of print status this is it. No one reading this book could every be disapointed. The story is captivating and the illistrations so incredible you often find yourself mearly turning pages trying to identify which is your favorite
Come back into print...

I personally just found out that this book is out of print. When I was a kid I loved to read about Julis the catwitch. I just started to think about this book the other day mainly because I am tending a young child, and I think that she needs to experience the book Catwitch because I loved it so much. I am hoping that this book will come back into print so all of us that grew up on that book can relive part of our fondest memories as children.
