Why is this book only a penny? Are you nuts? This is one of the best books I have read. Now look: this woman, Yvone Lenard, is a French woman. As French, she contrasts the French and American cultures, something many people are interested in. As a woman, she has a sensitivity that can help men who want to understand women better. Also, this book is partly autobiographical, and there is often something that comes across with the spirit of the author in these kind of books that can add to the dimension of the book. There are a couple of sex scenes, but remember first, she's French, and then realize that they are meant to parallel a very exciting relationship, and it stands as a symbol for those values in a relationship that cannot be put into words. This book is worth a lot more than it's being sold for, as of this writing, and should be interesting for both men and women. I hope from my comments you can judge whether you are one of them or not.
