Finally: a teen knitting book actually written by a teen who understands what's hot and what's not, what's chic and what's for geeks. Sarah Paulin loves fashion and she's created a closet's worth of... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Lovely knitting projects for teens written by a teen could also have been featured in our 'Children's Bookwatch' issue - but it'd have been a shame to limit this book's audience to young adults alone. It's a fine gathering of funky knitting projects from shrugs to bags and provides a range of projects any knitter will love. Many knitting books offer projects that are traditional, so a wide audience will appreciate the attention to style and new materials presented in CHIC KNITS. From hand warmers to purses and scarves, it's an excellent contemporary collection. Diane C. Donovan California Bookwatch

My daughter has this book and she has really enjoyed knitting the shrug on the cover. I am sure she'll knit many other projects from the book. The book works great because she can refer back to diagrams to answer her questions about stitches. The hard cover and spiral binding make it easy-to-use.

I just saw in the product description that it has been written by a teen and I was surprised. It has many designs of which 7 are for scarves from the very simple to the more advanced like the woven braid scarf which is very beautiful. Four Shrugs,a poncho, two nice beanies, two belts, a pair of slippers, 3 wrist warmer's and a very nice idea for tube top/skirt that I will knit as a present for my niece. And patterns for 9 bags felted and unfelted.
