Heartfelt Stories

After my own career in education which spanned 40 years, I was given a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul Celebrates Teachers. As I read the selected stories, tears flowed. It is so wonderful to read about the dedication of teachers and the unique bond that exists between those who love their chosen profession and their students. The last story in the book I know to be true and each time I read it, I cry with empathy and joy, for the writer is my daughter, Kristin Spengler Zerbe. She is the most dedicated and talented teacher I know. After 11 years in the English classroom, her students constantly show her their appreciation with similar gestures of thanks. This is a GREAT GIFT book for anyone.
