Jesus is brown and the Bible represents diversity in imagery

It’s impolite young children to see themselves mirrored in books and many bible books I saw had a blue eyed Jesus and lacked diversity in its images- not this one and that’s why we love it. We’re a multiracial family so we are conscious of the power of images we show the kids. Archbishop Tuti who grew up under apartheid clearly is too and we appreciate seeing such mirrors in books .
