Mark Read is a funny half-illiterate bad ass. His stories are awesome and even though he IS half-illiterate, they're cleaned up. Read his books
Chopper 3, just as good as the rest!

I had read the first 2 books by chopper, and although initially I was a little disappointed with how the book is laid out, I have since been converted and must have read both books in excess of 7 times each! Obviously when I received the 3rd installment this Christmas (2004/2005) I was more than pleased with the Mrs, and felt that the foot spa she had received was well deserved. I had read other reviews of this book, from people slating it, saying that it had the same stories, and that he didn't go into his childhood. I have to agree that I would very much like to read about what he was subjected to as a youth but these people are missing the point, as you need to see the book as it is meant to be; a lighthearted yet dark look into the life of a man who not only maimed for money, but sometimes killed for no real reason at all. I would rate this book up there with the first two, as although he does talk about some of the same stories in the other books, he also tells you about these in more depth as well as other stories not mentioned before, & I can confirm they are equally as appalling as the others....excellent! If you liked the film or any of the other books buy this, it's a must!
