My daughter, age 8, loved this book. I think it has some really good advise about bullying; something all girls deal with at some point. We had some great discussions after she finished the book.
Typical story for pre-teens with excellent message.

Good follow-up book for the Chrissa doll. None of the stories for the Girl of the Year dolls come even close to the historical doll series; nor do they compare to the History Mysteries which American Girl produced in the 1990s.
Another great American Girl story for girls

My daughter loved both of these books and read through them in a day! The story is a valuabel one for tweens, about girls who bully Chrissa and the importance of finding true friendship.
