Can Christina control Sterling? Now that she has the horse of her dreams, Christina Reese is more determined than ever to enter high-level competitions. There's only one problem--her horse, Sterling Dream, isn't cooperating. Christina thought she had a close bond with Sterling, but now the mare refuses to do anything Christina asks. She balks at jumping even the lowest fences Christina doesn't know what to do. If Sterling 's behavior doesn't improve, this may be the end of their riding career Whether jumping a cross-country course, galloping a powerful racehorse, or just riding on the trails, only one thing matters Christina and her friends: the special bond between horse and rider. If you love horses, then you'll love reading all the books in the Thoroughbred series.

I don't get it why some people say these books rot. They're great! I love the eventing ones just as much as the racing ones, maybe even more because in the racing ones the horses were winning all the time. I know the old characters should still be here but give the new characters a chance! So far they're proving to be better than the old ones! But in #34 I don't know if they're talking about Wonder's Pride or Pride's Chance. On the cover of this book Christina and Sterling really look like a team. For all those people that say Christina is a brat, she was a bit bratty in this one, and in the beginning of #25 when she gets really mad at Melanie. I like the new authors, but I thought that Alice Leonhardt's 'Riding Academy' series was good. Allison Estes is a good author, too. When the Thoroughbred series was devoted to racing, I liked it better when Joanna Campbell wrote them. But the only thing is, is when they didn' consult Ms. Campbell before changing the series to eventing. Please, everyone, give this series a chance! It'll turn out great! I collect these books by the bagfull, I swear I do!
Fantastic!

I love the new books just as much as the old books! All of these books are good, and I love horses and Eventing just like Christina. I think it's great that Sterling and Christina make such a great team. Christina's not a brat and Sterling is great! I highly think everyone who loves horses should read these books--especially this one. They're all so interesting and exciting!
What is everyone's deal?

Okay, I want the racing and Cindy and Samantha back. But, I really still love the TB books just the same! I think it's kind of interesting how they mix up Christina's horse life with her love, but I would much rather perfer the horse life over love life any day. JOANNA PLEASE COME BACK!
