It is considered second only to the Tao Te Ching, but the two books coundn't be more different. Where the Tao Te Ching is distant and proverbial in style, the Chuang Tze buzzes with life and with insights, often with considerable humour behind them.

Better than the Tao Te Ching

A very underrated Taoist work in comparison to the famous Tao Te Ching. I much preferred this book, as it is a collection of short stories, rather than poetry. Chuang Tzu is not directly credited for every story, as the author explains, however the writing in general is funny and engaging. One of my favorites!
