In 2004, we had already been using the tenth edition of this text, now this new version (eleventh) has just a few different things in regards to chapter placement and topic information. I have enjoyed using this textbook in my courses over the years, we have covered approximately 85-90% of the topics in the book during the regular semesters. We have broken the book down into two sections. The first is for 1311 or Civ. I, and the second for Civ. II or 1312. This text in my opinion should be used not only in the "core" courses, but also in the upper level or advanced classes as well.. Edmond Davis Historian Pulaski Technical College Little Rock, Arkansas
