This book has some of the more effective IS designs to date. With designs like the Grand Titan, Grim Reaper, and Cerebus, this book cannot be ignored. The Clan designs, however, are not the best out there. the new Omnis tend to be too fast and undergunned, but the second-line designs help in defensive clan scenarios. Don't listen to the people who have no punctuation and can't spell right, get this book.

This book is a good addition to the Battletech Universe. Although it lacks the shear quantity of 3050 it makes up for it in how it describes each mech's Overview, Capabilites, and Deployment, something that FASA forgot about in 3050. It is one of my favorites (besides 3025).
