Classic math puzzles that appear hard but have an understandable solution

Mathematical puzzles and riddles where the problem appears unsolvable and the solution is obvious after it is revealed are commonly grouped into the category of mathemagic. While it may appear to be a misnomer, it is in fact an accurate descriptor of that type of problem. Magical tricks appear impossible when executed by a talented performer, yet if the basis of the trick is revealed, you may be forever disappointed. That is not the case with mathemagic, when you reason out or learn of the solution, your appreciation for the beauty and power of mathematics grows.
