In this story of courage and friendship, Clovis' bayou friends are frightened by the large, wide-eyed animal that Gaston Grasshopper spots climbing in the big old oak tree. Even though all these creatures live down by the bayou, they are not all friends. Some are even afraid of each other But Clovis explains that this big betail is Raoul Raccoon, who is simply gathering berries for his meal. When this hungry raccoon gets trapped in Simone Spider's web, Clovis urges his friends to abandon their fears of Raoul and help him out of a sticky situation.
Set on the Louisiana bayou, this story of Clovis Crawfish and his friends teaches children how to put aside their fears and assist others, while also teaching them a bit of Cajun French.
