The material content of the book is good. However, the Gleim review books assume a certain level of knowledge. Even though I have a degree in econ and work in the acctg/finance field I will surely have to review some basics before this study guide is useful to me.
Great book for advanced learners.

I am just getting through this book, another in the line of strong Gleim CMA books. See my review of the first book for more details. Again, this book is very good, but you'd better have a decent handle on basic accounting concepts before you open it, or you are going to be big-time lost. I have taken several accounting courses, but it's been a few years, and I'm finding it tough going. If you know your accounting, though, this book is an extremely efficient way to prep for the exam.
Efficiently written and well-organized.

A very concise, well-written book. Extremely helpful with regards to actually writing the exam - very focused on passing the test, as opposed to learning for learning's sake. Also contains lots of useful information about exam and CMA qualification procedures. One word of caution: I have a background in economics, and I imagine someone without a similar background might find this book too advanced to start with, in that it is very abrupt - no time is really spent on explaining basic but tricky concepts. I appreciated this fact, but others might find it tough. But you'll definitely want to work through this book at some point before writing the exam.
Bravo and well written!

If you really wanto to pass the CMA exam with the least effort. You gotta read this book. It's well organized, clear, and useful. I can guarantee you if you go through it twice, it would be no pain at all to pass the exam. I wish I would have had read it twice so that I could pass it with a higher score.
