I started reading Rod McKuen's poetry in the 70's. I was writing love poetry and storing it. Because of Mr McKuen, I began writing, after marriage and have published my first book on Love. I owe a lot to Rod McKuen, for he helped me write one of my first poems, "Reach out and take hold, for is it not the love for one another, that makes us into something we weren't...
