Taishi is shocked when, at the next ComiPa, Kazuki declares that he doesn't have a book to sell this month, saying that he just couldn't write something he felt good about. Mizuki then shows up and says that, when she was with him earlier, he said that he had finished his doujinshi and was feeling pretty good about it. Taishi and Mizuki wonder what's going on until Chisa shows up and explains what happened. Chisa really wanted Kazuki's work to be ready in time for the ComiPa, but her parents were out of town and wouldn't be back in time to print it. She tries and fails to print it and some other works herself, but it's no good. She calls Kazuki, who agrees to help her finish re-printing, but she counted the paper wrong and they end up only having enough for one more work, with Kazuki's and someone else's left. Kazuki tears up his work, saying that the other person would be very disappointed if his/her work didn't get printed. Without any doujinshi to sell, Kazuki is free to wander around the ComiPa.
