This is a short book (about the size of a popular paperback) with a listing of the most common mistakes and "pitfalls" in clinical cardiology practice. The book includes a number of gems that could be useful in fine-tuning a cardiologist's practice and includes chapters on hypertension, dyslipidemias, acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, primary and secondary prevention, ECG interpretation, and stroke. The book was written by a distinguished panel of experts in each field. Many of the tips will be known to practicing cardiologists, but the book is worth reading for the ones that will be fresh reminders.
