As the controversy about the vadi and samvadi notes encompasses serious debates of Indian classical music, according to most musicologists the vadi samvadi notes in a raga repeat or in other words should occur most frequently. The practitioners don't follow this in their performances and it opens a yawning gap in the theory and practice of Indian classical music. The data from the books of musicologists were collected and the notations of live performances of different well-known artists were conducted and contrasted.
