So far I'm enjoying the book...very informational! I recommend it even to individuals who are not taking a Health or PE class.

Although I got this book as a textbook for a PE class, I have to admit that I find the information up-to-date and pertinent (how many texts do you know that use Tiger Woods as an example?) For the most part (I tend to be "out there" as far as health/nutrition/wellness beliefs)I found the information to be accurate and interesting.

Even though this books was a required textbook for college, I am glad I had to pick it up. There has been some really good information in this book. We are moving through it quickly in class, but I have already flagged some sections that I know I want to go back and read again.
