This book does for fantasy what Douglas Adams did for sci-fi: skewer its cliches, hilariously. The book's first line, "I don't believe in virgin sacrifice. Confessions is an entertaining farce, poking fun at the fantasy genre as well as modern society and government while taking the reader on a comedic ride through a mock fantasy world through the eyes of a smart aleck, slutty (and I mean that in the most complimentary way) hottie and a cast of absurd characters. My favorites are Luthor, the disfigured troll brother of two well endowed bumbling barbarians and of course Jezzebelle, the fearless heroine I'd like to...well, it's a fun read.
