Good book for ISDN configuration examples

Do you know what NT1, TEI, 2B+D, 23B+D, 30B+D mean? What are the similiarities between Frame Relay and ATM? Great DDR config examples, the type that stomp you on the "Building Cisco Remote Access Networks" examination. What is the difference between PAP and CHAP? I downloaded some of the router configurations to get more practice. Because when your dealing with a Cisco exam don't leave any thing to chance, it'll bite you later.I also recommend purchasing "ISDN", isbn:0-07-034437-X author:Gary Kessler

As a network administrator I have to deal with Cisco documentation all day. What a pleasure to read a book that's not only technically accurate but reads well too. This book offers one of the most readable explanations of configuring Cisco Routers for ISDN that I have seen.Paul Fischer has a great sense of humor and isn't averse to poking fun of himself or network administrators (just take a look at the cartoons). The quick tutorial on ISDN in the appendix was just what I needed to get up and running fast!
An excellent, easy to follow guide to Cisco routers.

As a Technical Editor for Seagate Software I am responsible for creating documentation that is usable by the novice but contains the details needed by the advanced administrator. This book easily meets those requirements. I read through subjects that I was familiar with to subjects that were new to me without any difficulty. It also includes several detailed Appendixes including one specifically on ISDN that I found very informative. Configuring Cisco Routers for Isdn is excellent reading and a great addition to the reference bookshelf.

This book starts out with an introductory chapter on Cisco and its progression into one of the largest networking companies, a very interesting chapter.The book continues with a gentle introduction into the use of Cisco Routers and internetworking routers with ISDN. Overall an interesting and comprehensive book for the network administrator who is assigned the task of internetworking Cisco Routers with ISDN!
