Cooper, a friendly pink mouse, becomes homeless when two fat cats and a lady in a red hat take over the cheese shop where Cooper works and lives. He is confused and sad as he looks for a place to go,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Cooper's Tale is the story of a mouse who learns the value of having a place to call home. Geared to a young audience, Cooper's Tale is appropriate for children ages 4-8. The story is a rather long one, so you may want to consider the attention span of your audience before reading aloud. However, the book can be used as an excellent tool to introduce the topic of homelessness to young children without the fear of scaring them. Older children (ages 9-12) would appreciate No Place To Go by Maria Testa because her story is a realistic one whereas Cooper's Tale is not.
