We got this book for our 5 year old son as we were heading on a trip to Costa Rica. He loved learning all about life on a coral reef. The format allows for either reading straight through and getting a sense of what a full day & night is like on a coral reef or targeting favorite two-page spreads. We did lots of each and the book was pretty beat up by the end of the trip. The photography is great and just the right amount of information to keep a child engaged.
Wonderfully illustrated
