Near Perfect coverage of a complex program

Well, after working with every version of Corel for more than 9 years, I still find myself needing a good book to help me through the sections that I don't often use or are just plain hard.... This book is a great reference to a complex program. CorelDraw 8 is a near do everything program and it takes a "Large" book to cover it all... this one sure does that. Thanks for all the help. Well written and to the point.

Corel Draw8's table of contents leads me to answers in seconds. I have highlighted a third of my book. Everything from color models to exporting in never heard of formats. Clear examples that lead to great results. Comparatively inexpensive do to it's vast knowledge of know-how.
Like having Foster and Peter by my side

Having only the desire and no formal training in graphic art programs I find that by using this book I can logically work my way through the projects described in Corel Draw 8. I have attended two of their seminars and the book is like having Foster and Peter beside me.
A solid learning tool/reference for ANY Draw 8 user.

The authors clearly and solidly put themselves mentally in the shoes of a beginning user. Yet there is no padding or chaff. There are maybe a half dozen software books that come close to equalling them in this respect.The many illustrations would admittedly be much more attractive in color. But you have to DO it to learn it. And you get the color on screen as you do.A MUST, and a BEST BUY, whether you are a beginner, an initiated, or a pro.
