A Great Help

This manual helped with my understanding of this topic. I took this course on line, and as you all know, a person is basically on their own to either sink or swim. We had to learn this course by reading the text and doing the assigned problems at the end of each Chapter. The text itself was a very poor teacher of this course. This guide summarized all the important points and explained the concepts in easy to understand language and examples. I still had to read the text, but it made so much more sense. My only gripe is that the problems they used at the end of the chapter in this guide could have been more straight forward, at times they were a bit tricky and time consuming.

This book is extremely useful for anyone currently using the corresponding text. Concise synopsis of each chapter as well as additional quantitative and conceptual problems. Especially recommended for the busier student who does not have maximum study time.

the book is easy to understand and the practice problems all have solutions and reasons behind the answer. it would be nice if it answered some of the problems from the book also.
