All the quilts are irresistible, so much so that I made one of the projects within days of receiving the book. I have been a quilter for 14 years and love how clear the directions are. There are quilts and projects for all levels. Thimbleberries are classics and this book is on the top of my list. The scenic pictures are beautiful too.

After borrowing this book from the library, I decided to buy it. The book includes a variety of easy to do quilts, a table topper and other items that will make nice gifts. There are applique patterns for a gingerbread man, stars and evergreen trees. There is a "kids art quilt" that I intend to make and bring to a family reunion for the kids to decorate. I was at the library looking for quilts that could be made in flannel. This book offers patterns that can be easily used for this purpose and they are not the run of the mill patterns that I saw in other quilt books. I don't have the time or frankly the desire to do intricate quilts - I just want to have fun with quick, yet pretty results. For me, this book suits me well.
