Ultrasound in Liquid and Solid Metals focuses on the effect of intensive ultrasound on metals, including the analysis of the development of cavitation and acoustic flows in melts, mechanism of metals' spraying and crystallization, the formation of dislocation structure in crystals, diffusion, phase transformation, and plastic deformation. Physical fundamentals of intensive ultrasound effects are covered, and detailed discussions are presented on the engineering principles of equipment and material design for the practical use of ultrasound in the refining of melts, crystallization of ingots and molds, pulverization, plating, pressure working of metals, surface strengthening, and other processes.
I wish I would have found this book earlier! It is an excellent resource for neuro/anatomy. It maps out each cranial nerve, explains its course, functions, etc. in clear text. I liked how it had a different color for each modality (general sensory afferent, branchial motor, etc.) and how it explained areas in which there are differing opinions; it helped me to reason things out when texts/professors conflicted. Thank goodness a kind soul handed this down to me, because I think $43 is a bit steep....
Best Cranial Nerve Review

In my opinion, this is the best cranial nerve review book out there. It leads you through each of the cranial nerves. The origins of each component of each nerve are listed and each one traced through it's various foramina and nuclei.
Excellent book for med or grad students in Neuroscience

Cranial Nerves is great for helping medical and graduate students understand some of the spatial relationships with cranial nerves. It gives a clear and concise review of each cranial nerve and then adds some valuable clinical aspects. The use of color coding throughout the book helps the student to follow a cranial nerve or component throughout the various diagrams in a logical fashion. Most of my class has or has borrowed this book even though it is not even listed on the required or recommended readings for the Neuroscience class! All in all a wonderful book.
