LawI've owned a copy of this book for MANY years. If you don't know how to cook - this is the book for you. The recipes are easy, simple, flavorful, and "stick to your ribs" - all while being on a budget. If you DO know how to cook - it's an excellent book to have for a quick change-of-pace meal, ideas for when you're craving some "comfort food", or as a base to add your own personal touches, to create your own nouvelle cuisine...

I bought this cookbook for the staff to use at my disabled son's home. They need to cook for one and it is hard to find decent cookbooks. The staff rave about this cookbook. It is great! Easy to read, simple ingrediants and they love the picture of the which pot or pan to use.

The Starving Students Cookbook taught me a lot of really basic, but very tasty dishes that I still use today. My favorites include "Meatloaf Men Like" and "Easy Roast." I highly recommend this book to anyone living away from home for the first time, or who is just strapped for cash.

By keeping the recipes and ingredients both simple and easy, even the most 'culinary-challenged' person can whip up a great macaroni-tuna casserole previously thought unreachable! Also, this is a good cookbook for kids just learning to cook, and offers a little bit of everything. This is the...
