The real Takenouchi has finally made it back to Japan, but his stomach-turning travels have just begun! It's time for the Cromartie school trip, and armed with a plastic bag, he's determined to... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Takenouchi, fresh from leading the American Mafia, has returned to Cromartie High to take his rightful place as head of the 1st year students. He might have picked the wrong time to return though, when he finds out his class is taking a field trip and the method of transportation is a super-fast bullet train! He's going to have to seek divine help if he hopes to keep his motion sickness in check and secret! And it's hard for Kamiyama to even get the guys to get off at their stop when most of them don't know what planet they're on, much less any Japanese cities. Hokuto plans to use the rail system to extend his control over other schools, but its' kinda hard when he gets on the wrong train. And who is going to take care of Freddie's horse? Volume 4 of Cromartie High School is the funniest installment yet in this soon to be classic manga. There are no awkward transitions from one skit to the next and all the jokes are strong. Mechazawa is unfortunately absent for most of the volume, but when he does show up with his little brother Mechazawa Beta, a miniature version of himself with shorts and suspenders, you'll find it hard to stop laughing. Some of the funnier bits also included the Destrade High new #2 man and the boss at Manuel High, who serves as a brutal gang leader by day but is the nicest email poster at night, who finds the acts of a flamer on the Internet to be immoral. This is definitely the funniest manga going right now. Be sure to check it out! For a high school series similar in spirit but with a feminine outlook, I would recommend Azumanga Daioh, the manga and anime.
