I recently was gifted with a new real crystal ball as I am trying to expand my magickal knowledge and capabilities .I knew enough to know there are specific/ concise ways in which you need to prepare and cleanse your ball prior to use;and the same with storing it as well. All the books I searched through were mostly dime store. Type carnival how to be a fortune teller type. Or if they did have any substance it wasn't complete from purchase to use. NONE spoke on preparing, cleansing& protecting it) except this one. And if you are a pagan or witch these are EXTREMELY important. A crystal ball is not a toy; it's a tool. As a solitary practioner it's a tool for meditation & reflection, as well as for a glimpse into the future or a tool to unravel the past ; or even to seek guidance from those who've gone before is. Of all the books I viewed , this one was the most clear and complete book for those who want more than a ball in a tent at the county fair or simply a decoration. Nothing wrong with anyone's personal choice, that's just not what I was looking to do,and now with this authors help I can begin to explore and learn with the ball that's been on a wooden box under my bed! Thankyou Mr. Andrews🔮

NO PROBLEM AT ALL..

This book is good...no problem at all understanding it. It clear and concise...lots of useful info. Its a bit on the Greeko-roman-male theme as the beginning or foundation of things. I especially found it so that he mentions Eastern..including India, Africa, Asia...etc as if on the bottom of the list culture contributions...or as "other cultures"...as if they were some little footnote to the history or humanity or something. However, pass this by and you can still have usefull things to learn and keep the book around on your bookcase or list.
I'm so lucky to have found this book.

Now I feel more prepared to use a crystal sphere. Excellent source of information. But have to admit that I skipped the entire section on crystal bowls as that doesn't "call" to me.

I enjoyed this book as much as possible. Ted Andrews can explain anything in lamens terms so that you can understand it. Aside from crystal balls and bowls it contains several good meditation and pendulum exercises.

This book has wonderful exercises for the beginner and gives helpful hints to the experienced scryer also. The book not only discusses crystal balls and crystal bowls, but also touches on water divination and mirror gazing as well. I'd recommend it to anyone.
