I am using this book as the core text for a high school anthro class in a well to do public school. The content is excellent, though students sometimes have problems sustaining their concentration when assigned to read lengthy sections. I do like all of the hot social issues that this text allows me to discuss with students. Crapo would do well to trim/edit this text down by about 1/3 to really create an excellent school text.
