An absolute favorite!

I bought this book for my husband to read to our daughter. So many books focus on the mother-child relationship, I was happy to find something that spoke to the father-child bond. And it works: he voluntarily became the official bedtime reader after I bought this book. Frankly, this book is not the greatest in terms of text or art, but for some reason, it was my daughter's first absolute favorite book, and remains (8 months later), her most favorite book. Just reciting the text(without the book present) immediately soothes her. But my favorite part? the beautiful bond it has created between daddy and child.
Be ready to give hugs!

My 11 month old loves this book. Her Daddy is deployed right now and enjoys hearing the name Daddy and especially loves all the hugs this book gives!

Another special selection for the young child in your life. It is a big hit with my 15 month old grandson. I highly recommend this as well as "Mommy Hugs."

Something so simple, yet so cute! I can't wait for the baby to be born and listen to my husband read this to him!!It's all about Daddy animals and their babies, and I'd recommend it to all Daddys!!
