End of the day fun with Daddy!

Daddy's Home! This joyful board board is about a young child greeting their father and spending the evening together at the end of a long day. Daddy phones to say that he's coming home after the rest of the family has already eaten and done their chores, but once he arrives and sets down his briefcase it's time for father and child to spend time together. The simple rhymes describe how they share their evening: a bath, Daddy's late dinner, waiting while Daddy checks the news and the mail, and finally their bedtime rituals (which include reading a book together!) and off to sleep at last. The illustrations are exuberant and energetic, and wonderfully portray the happiness between father and child.
