Wow!!! this book was educational, but very interesting. When you read the stories in there, you could just tell what the people did wrong on how to avoid a challenge with an agressive dog. It got me thinking on what goes on iside a dogs mind, and how to be the perfect inbetween "sugar and spice" to get a loving relashionship with your dog. Roxanne, fantastic job! -Kaylee Martin
Dangerous OWNERS would be a more accurate title!

It was with great trepidation & skepticism that I recently picked up "Dangerous Dogs". As the proud owner of 3 adopted canines: a German Shepherd cross, a Doberman cross and a Pit bull cross, and (unfortunately) a resident of Ontario Canada, my life currently revolves around educating the ignorant and fighting against Breed Specific Legislation. You can very well imagine my surprise, when I found this book (despite the lurid and sensationalistic cover photograph) to be a well-written, scientific, and fairly well-balanced account of a very real problem that faces society today. Congratulations to both the author and the publishers of this book for actually examining the facts, rather than simply feeding the media hysteria surrounding surrounding such a serious topic. This book (along with Fatal Dog Attacks by Keren Deslisle), should be mandatory reading material for animal control and shelter workers everywhere!
