The publisher's review of this book suggests that the material is "light," which may be accurate. However, Dave Thomas has a gentle way about his writing style that I believe is areflection of his personality. The book is full of interesting stories about his success in building a hamburger empire, and includes some valuable lessons about building a business with integrity and compassion. Wendy's has been famous for supporting the communities it serves, and I enjoyed reading about Dave's philosophy of hard work, honesty, and charity. These are things we can all benefit from. I recommend this book to any aspiring entrepreneur. You may also want to read "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill and "The 17 Principles of Creating Wealth" by Phillip Collinsworth.
