Good Resource While on the Road

I found this book in a Thrift Store and bought it for my upcoming UK Trip. I was strictly using National Rail so I was happy this included travel by Rail. I read it through and highlighted many of the things that interested me. Since this was an old book, I took a page from Rick Steves and tore out all of the chapters that had highlighting. At the end of each day, I wrote in my Travel Journal all of the important sites I had seen and visited. I included information like hours, prices, and how much I spent that day. Then I tossed that day's itinerary. Then I would go through the next day's itinerary and map out my route. By the end of my trip, I had my own little Guide Book to help friends and family who might be interested in going to the UK. This worked for me!
