Warning: It's more sci-fi than it lets on!

This book turned out to be something I wasn't expecting when I bought it. The back doesn't really turn you on to the fact that its alot sci-fi. It is a romance too. Don't get me wrong, it's a romance with lots of graphic sex, I just don't want there to be a misunderstanding when people go to buy this book like I did (I don't normally go for sci-fi) and be surprised when they start reading it. The place Syndi finds is called Undrworld (yes, that's how it's spelled in the book)and it's a water world with fish, snakes, and vehicles floating around and the people have gills and big eyes. Now having said that, once I got over the surprise of the hero, Tor, having dark oversized eyes and gills and then got throught the first third of the book b/c it started out kinda slow it was actually a good read. It really was a good romance and story. I'm glad I stuck with it and finished it b/c it was wort it. I would recomend this book to others but I had to let people know about the touch of sci-fi it has.
