This book is a great story for children anticipating the arrival of a sibling or who are siblings of a baby. The layout is interesting and the letters show so many emotions. As a teacher, I see this book lending itself to a great springboard for writing with children. I've personally met Sarah Sullivan and she is great to work with!! Sarah Sullivan is a wonderful author. This book is great for a boy waiting to be a big brother--all the emotions he feels about the new baby sister. It's great.

The letter/ scrapbook format of this book really makes it easy to read and discuss issues that come with being a big brother. It's a great book for parents with older siblings becoming big brother/ sister to read together. Great as a springboard for conversations on what comes with being a big brother, and how your youngster might be feeling about it.
