A boy's beautiful prayer-poem for his favorite tree

"Dear Tree" is a boy's beautiful prayer-poem for his favorite tree, wishing the tree a "Year filled with sunlight,...delicious rain,...beautiful blossoms, Shiny green leaves,/ And sweet fruit with many seeds inside." The boy promises to do all he can to guard, protect and care for the tree in the coming year. "Dear Tree" focuses on the time of year for growth and blossoming, and is a perfect gift for Tu B'Shavat or the Hebrew New Year for Trees, or any time of year. Tender paintings illustrate the boy's care and love for the tree. "Dear Tree" ends with a note About Tu B'Shvat and the following inspirational words:"Tu B'Shvat inspires us with the idea that, 'Man is like a tree of the field (Dvorim 20:19).' Just as trees need roots to remain strong, faith keeps us connected to our Torah heritage. And just as trees benefit others with the fruit they provide, we strive to reach out and benefit others with our positive example and good deeds."
