A craft book that demonstrates how to decorate a variety of glass, tile and china items, using easy-to-use acrylic enamels. The author offers 15 step-by-step projects, including flowers on crystal,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a good book for beginner's to glass painting. The author covers all the basic information in depth, paints, brushes, cleaning surfaces, tools, and more. What I like the best is she has several projects, that are simple, and the painting techniques are easy to follow because she gives lots of pictures, step by step instructions, and tips for your success. But the results don't look overly simple. Everything looks harder than it actually is. I think you'll be pleased with the results. I always like it when the author gives patterns, and a resource list Also, lots of projects that would be good for gift giving. And as always with a good book and instructor, you will be able to use the things you learn in other craft areas.

I absolutely love this book. I have learned an entire new painting technique that I can incorporate in to my One Stroke Technique. I would love to have more of Carol Mays' books.
One of my favorite books!

As I am new to decorative painting, I found this book to be extremely helpful in learning how to paint on glass and tile. The author shares many projects and all of them are something the beginning painter can do. I'm quite pleased with this book.
