Suspensful and Romantic Page -Turner Thriller!

WoW! Simply put, this book was just awesome, and had me GUESSING who did it until the very last page of this novel. I just purchased this book 2 days ago, and have just finished it. It is such a fast-paced read, suspensful, and thrilling right up until the very end. I would definently recommend this book to all the "newbies" of Lisa Jackson's novels, or for the avid reader of Lisa Jackson...she is one talented writer! This book was definently worth the money spent!

THIS BOOK IS SO LONG THAT ALTHOUGH I LOVE THIS AUTHOR I PUT OFF STARTING IT. IT WAS SO WELL WRITTEN THAT I HATED TO SEE IT END AFTER ONLY 500 PAGES. THERE ARE VERY FEW BOOKS THAT I WOULD SAY THAT ABOUT. THE CHARACTERS ARE WELL DEVELOPED AND THE TENSION JUST KEEPS ON CLIMBING. ONCE I WAS INTO THE BOOK I REALLY RESENTED HAVING TO PUT IT DOWN. I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE IN THIS SERIES.

Her ability to keep you guessing until the end while supplying a "just right" amount of romance along with a bundle of supsense is second to none. Deep Freeze has been added to my all time favorites, and I look forward to reading everying by Lisa Jackson that I can. The story is fast paced, you care about the characters, the ideas that the villian has is uncomprehendable and the ending not at all what I expected! I highly recommend this book

Well-written, excellent suspense, excellent main and even secondary characters. For me, one of the biggest surprises was finding out who Dr. Randall's mysterious patient was. This book reminds me of some of Mary Higgins Clark's early novels, back when she was writing terrific romantic suspense, not the poor quality she is writing now. My only complaint, and it's a very small one is that Lisa Jackson writes some of the best sex scenes I've ever read and except for one encounter, they are missing from this book.

Jenna Hughes is a former movie actress who has moved to Oregan to raise her 2 daughters. After being harrassed by a fan in Hollywood, and the death of her sister Jill, on the set of her last movie, she leaves Hollywood and and her ex-husband to find peace and a settled life for her and her family. Shane Carter is the local sheriff, he thinks Jenna is a hot-house flower trading on her fame. Even though he may not like her personally he can't help but notice her beauty. When threatening notes start to appear and women who look like Jenna start to disappear as well as one Jane Doe found dead, he has to get to know the lady. He immediately finds out Jenna is for real. A woman who loves her kids and just wants to find peace. Both have secrets they want to forget, and both find that attraction can not always be locked behind closed doors. As more women disappear and the fear rises, so do emotions. The temperature is falling but in hearts and minds the terror rises. It keeps you on your toes and guessing. Very well written I was totally surprised at the end. Very good book.
