The previous reviewer is correct in one aspect. If you're looking for a well written description of the 1927 MS River flood, then Rising Tide is the book for you. However, where Rising Tide is extremely lacking in photographic illustrations of this tragic event, Deep'n As It Comes makes up 10 fold! I find this book to be an excellent photographic companion to Rising Tide, which is why I own both!
