This resource helps to identify common patient diagnoses in the critically ill patient, and the care plans that are normally required to ensure optimal recovery to the patient's individualized maximum... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Delmar's Critical Care is a great book despite the fact that it was published in 2005. However, the information does not appear to be outdated. The book is easy to follow and it provides NANDA Nursing Diagnoses with the actual diagnoses, etiology, and AEB. It provides basic background information on the disease process or condition being addressed, and it helps develop individualized care plans. This book was very helpful in planning care for several patients with diseases such as COPD, heart disease, diabetes, and even for patients who were not so ill. Highly recommended for any nurse or nursing student who wishes to make their life easier.
