Provides seven secrets of success, the essential beliefs and behaviors practiced by the successful people in our culture and those who want to be. The secrets include: defining success, getting past self-imposed limits, learning disciplined personal development, how to find opportunity in every circumstance, and more.
Perhaps the most impressive thing about this book was the climatic ending. He built a solid case for success as a journey throughout the 12 chapters and topped it off perfectly at the conclusion. He saved a couple of surprises for the end. The analogy of pioneers and settlers makes a strong case for effective stewardship in any generation. That is described in chapter 12 also.Success, not only as a journey, but as a process is another strong theme of the book. He quotes John Maxwell throughout the book, and in the case of process, mentions that Maxwell sees it as consistently doing the right things, success will show up in time in the life of a person living that way.His "success magnet" provided insight too. What it amounts to is a new twist on the truth, "success leads to further success." He writes, "One successful thing always leads to another. Just like the magnetic force fields that surround the earth, success always brings more success. It's a law of the universe."I strongly recommend this book to success seekers. It will feed your soul with good nutrition. Speaking of reading, he makes a STRONG case for it. Reading is part of the lifestyle of success seekers.
A Fresh Perspective.

What a Great Book! I have read many books covering the topics of successful living, goals and purposeful living and I will have to say that Dwight's book really stands out as one of the best. So many books "rehash" the same principles over and over, but Dwight has managed to write a book that offers some inspiring thoughts to walk away with. "Success is a mindset. It is managing your moods and mastering your motivations." There is so much in that one statement. Dwight's book is filled with thought provoking and inspiring material. Read this book and rekindle the fires of your dream!
Enjoy your journey, the roadmap is in "your" hands!
