This is Dolly Sen's first book, written in her 20s, inspired by Kerouac's ON THE ROAD, the first book she read where she saw being a writer was a possibility. She dropped out of school at 14 with no qualifications and people told her she couldn't be a writer. She didn't listen to them and wrote this book to save her own soul.
