When my precocious kindergartner and I (being quite the opposite myself) seemed continually to be reminding ourselves about the difference between homonyms and homophones, I happened upon this book. It's a really neat book. It's great fun because of the simple pictures and homophones (and homonyms of course), and it helped with spelling, understanding, and anticipating homophones/grams/nyms or whatever they are called these days. I've given this book as a gift to K/1st-graders often.
