The Ultimate trivia book for the armchair warrior

This book is chocked full of fascinating litle known facts outside of the services of all nations. It is well worth the effort to read this book and I think that it should be read by all serious folks interested in War.

Ignore the poor folks who misread the title; this is the real deal. Pages of the interesting, the obscure, and the downright arcane bits of military info, lore and technical data. A book no true military enthusiast should be without.

This book is just plain fun, though it is not entirely true to its title; there are no astounding secrets or revelations here, just tidbits of military trivia that make for a liesurely read. At times, some discussions may be masking a contempt for the military establishment, but this does not diminish the historical and entertainment value for the information. The bottom line: if you're looking for an easy-to-read, abbreviated compendium of military facts, this book is for you; if you're really looking for "dirty little secrets", get your own security clearance.
