Is Her Brother a Traitor?

Nikki is glad her soldier brother has been found alive and rescued from South America, but he comes home a very different person. At first, she is sure he isn't a traitor to the US as some believe, but even Nikki begins to have her doubts as she observes his increasingly odd, and even violent, behavior. As Nikki tries to help her brother and to prove his innocence, she doesn't know who to believe or who to trust. Thwarted at every turn, she has no choice to trust Kade Wheaton, someone from her past that personally betrayed her once before. As Nikki and Kade hide out in a small town on the Chesapeake Bay and try to find out the truth, her brother disappears, making him look even more guilty. Another great tale of suspense from author Christy Barritt! I read this book while camping in the mountains in Maine. Without electricity there, I ended up sitting up late at night at the picnic table with a propane lantern to read! I couldn't wait to see what came next and finished it in just a couple of days! I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
